This message is intended for customers using InterQual AutoReview.
The InterQual integration with Epic has been updated to enable required security enhancements and migration towards industry standard open APIs. All customers using InterQual AutoReview must take action to upgrade their integration by Aug. 1, 2025 by taking the following steps:
1. Review the implementation guides and anticipated resource requirements for MRS (InterQual Connect) and AutoReview found on InterQual Community (links below).
2. Verify your current version of Epic and special updates. If your Epic version is not listed in Updates required for Epic InterQual integration, Please confirm when your next scheduled upgrade is planned. Otherwise, please ensure that you have taken the special upgrades listed in the guide.
3. Request InterQual MRS and AutoReview Apps in Epic Vendor Services • InterQual® Medical Review Service for providers - v2.1 • InterQual® Medical Review Service for providers (backend basic) - v1.1 • InterQual® Medical Review Service for providers (backend enhanced) - v1.1 • InterQual® AutoReview – v1.6 • InterQual® AutoReview – backend systems – v1.2
4. Reach out to your customer experience lead with any questions. Your Customer Experience lead will be reaching out in the coming week to arrange a technical meeting to answer any questions and work through details of the build.
